Privacy policy

Protection without social content collection.

Clean Social is designed to make local, surface-level decisions while keeping private social content out of logs, reports, and backend payloads.

What Clean Social processes

Clean Social may process account email, device platform, client version, entitlement status, settings, rule-pack version, timestamp bucket, surface category, decision code, aggregate block counts, issue type, and redacted diagnostics.

What Clean Social does not collect

Clean Social does not collect raw Accessibility node trees, raw webpage DOM, social app screen text, messages, comments, posts, social search queries, usernames, social account identifiers, screenshots, clipboard contents, cookies, authentication tokens, passwords, full browsing history, adult page titles, adult page text, adult browsing history, or notification text.

Android Accessibility boundary

Android protection is consent-gated. The Accessibility disclosure appears before permission instructions, and enforcement remains off until the user grants in-app consent and enables the operating system service.

Explicit Content Shield boundary

Explicit Content Shield is opt-in and domain-level in the Windows extension MVP. Android Explicit Content Shield is not enabled in the MVP and must not be treated as Android adult-content protection.

Account deletion

Account deletion is designed to remove account settings, device records, sessions, and entitlement metadata from the Clean Social backend. Billing providers may retain purchase records under their own policies.
